We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Partnerships to join our team. This role is critical in managing and expanding our network of partnerships, providing technical assistance and training, and maintaining strong relationships with our partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management, sales renewals and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management:
- Oversee and manage existing partnership relationships, ensuring a contract renewal rate of over 85%. Create and manage renewal contracts.
- Provide strategic support, training and technical assistance on implementing the Bright by Text product.
- Develop and deliver webinars, newsletters, and best practice updates to partner accounts on a quarterly basis.
- Responsive and prompt communication with existing partners.
- Document all account management support within Zoho CRM.
Sales and Outreach:
- Expand our network of partner organizations through referrals from existing partners and outreach to previous partners.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial outreach to contract closing and account management.
- Cultivate relationships with public-facing organizations interested in paid media deals with Bright by Text.
- Build and nurture relationships with state government offices to enhance family engagement strategies using Bright by Text.
Documentation and CRM Management:
- Document all activities, communications, and processes in Zoho CRM. Track and update projects using Bright By Text project management tool.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates in the CRM system.
Internal Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the highest quality of account management support including line of sight support to our partnerships manager and community calendar manager.
- Communicate regularly with the technology team to ensure the platform runs smoothly and meets partner needs.
- Document system errors in Jira and work closely with the technology team to ensure they are resolved quickly.
- Full-time, remote work with most internal meetings via video conference, occasional face to face meetings and occasional travel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3-5+ years experience in building partnerships, sales, and account management.
- Understanding of child development, early childhood education and experience working with nonprofits and state agencies is a plus.
- Strong track record of maintaining high renewal rates and managing sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, presentation and project management skills; comfortable with delivering webinars and training sessions.
- Proficient in using Zoho CRM or similar CRM systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Salary and Benefits:
- Salary range: $90,000-$120,000 depending on experience.
- Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance paid 100% for employees and unlimited time off.
