Bright by Text program coming to Lewis & Clark County

LEWIS & CLARK COUNTY — Montana counties have partnered with Helena organizations to bring the Bright by Text Program to Lewis & Clark County.

The program provides parents and caregivers with tips and local resources for children prenatal to age 8 by text messaging.


 

In a press release, United Way states that 90% of brain development happens by age 5. Interactions at this stage in a child’s life is crucial for future learning, behavior, and health.

United Way says the Bright by Text program will help parents and caregivers make the most out of these interactions by providing ideas, activities, and more.
