Denver, CO – Bright by Text, a national program that provides free childhood development information and parenting tips via text message, is excited to announce the launch of its service in Arabic. This new language offering aims to better serve Arabic-speaking families and communities across the U.S., ensuring that more parents and caregivers can access valuable tips and information that supports their child’s healthy development.
As of this month, Bright by Text users can sign up to receive messages in Arabic, covering topics such as child development milestones, health and safety tips, and educational activities. The text messages are targeted to each child's age and location in the United States, making the information timely and relevant for every family.
“We are thrilled to extend our services to Arabic-speaking communities, who deserve access to culturally relevant and accessible resources for their children’s growth and development,” said Dr. Katie Richardson, CEO of Bright by Text. “By offering these messages in Arabic, we can ensure that more families benefit from the knowledge and tools they need to nurture their children from pregnancy through early childhood.”
Bright by Text is designed to give parents and caregivers trusted information from expert sources–including PBS KIDS, Common Sense Media, the CDC’s “Learn the Signs, Act Early” campaign, and many more–delivered right to their phones. The program has proven to be a valuable resource for more than 350,000 families across the country, and this new Arabic-language option is part of an ongoing effort to increase inclusivity and accessibility.

About Bright by Text
Through tips, information, games and resources sent by text message, Bright by Text is proven to build nurturing caregiver-child relationships, strengthen families, promote a child’s healthy development, and improve school readiness. Messages are timed to a child’s exact age and zip code, prenatally through age 10, and offered in English, Spanish, and Arabic. An independent study of Bright by Text found that the service helped parents feel less overwhelmed, led to higher levels of verbal interaction between parents and children, and supported age-appropriate language development in children.
